ISSUE 2 NEWSLETTER Winter / Spring 2012
The latest edition of the CWPT members' newsletter has been issued to all members. For the curious and slightly competitive ones amongst you, there was a small quiz on the back page….The Eyes Have It, where four sets of eyes belonging to CWP wildlife had to be identified.
The answers are as follows:
A: Frog
B: Bat
C: Rabbit
D: Tufted Duck
Congratulations if you got them all right!
What do we do?
We are the Cotswold Water Park Trust and we are here to make a difference, for you and for the wildlife of the Cotswold Water Park, through conservation, education, promotion and involvement.
We fundraise for a wide range of projects: more and better public paths, improved parking facilities, the creation of nature reserves and campaigns to protect endangered species like the Water Vole, Otter, Bats and Black Poplar.
We manage hundreds of acres of land, from Neighbridge Country Park to Riverside Park, for the benefit of local people, visitors and wildlife.
We promote better understanding through our schools education programme and exciting public events - like our sell-out fossil hunts, talks and workshops.
