Our partners

Today, the Society works in partnership with the Cotswold Water Park Joint Committee, local residents, parish councils, private landowners, mineral companies, environmental organisations, statutory organisations and local businesses.

The Society works in a unique partnership with the Cotswold Water Park Joint Committee ( Cotswold District Council, North Wiltshire District Council, Gloucestershire County Council and Wiltshire County Council). The Joint Committee controls large scale strategic and planning issues, whilst the Society is dedicated to fund raising, establishing partnerships with other bodies and practical management on the ground. This includes running the Water Park Ranger Service and Country Parks. The Society also works with Water Park businesses (many of which are privately owned) to market the Park.

Through its partners the Society is able to draw funding from a range of sources to design, develop and deliver strategic solutions, cost effective projects, and coordinated technical management.

The Cotswold Water Park is set to double in area over the next 20 years so it is vital that the partnerships continue to ensure a sustainable future for the Cotswold Water Park, its residents, visitors and wildlife.
