CWP Master Plan moves forward

Stage 1 Summary Report now available online

Following the appointment of consultants Scott Wilson to produce a Master Plan for the Cotswold Water Park, Stage 1 has now been completed and is available to view online. The aim of the study is to produce a vision, or series of visions, that not only reflects the various sectors that are active within the Park, such as land owners, minerals operators, holiday parks or conservationists, but particularly express the hopes and concerns of the 20,000 people who live within the Park’s 40 square kilometres.

Stage 1 Summary Report

The following represents the findings of the initial investigations by Scott Wilson.
The Stage 1 Summary is a précis of the baseline information for the Cotswold Water Park. It also gives an indication of the options being explored in relation to the future direction of the CWP. The next phase of the masterplanning process is to identify through consultation the interrelationship between the various issues highlighted and to understand how the options may be translated into a more coherent framework to inform the masterplan.
