Cotswold Rowing Club open day

All welcome to have a go

Cotswold Rowing Club Open Day

13th June 2009

Following last year?s successful event Cotswold Rowing Club plans another Open day as above. All interested rowers can turn up and try out rowing whether experienced or not. Even the younger members will be taken for a paddle on the lake.

We will hold a barbeque afterwards and then organise a visit to the Cleveland Lake complex where we hope to row next year.

The Cleveland Lake complex will permit rowing over a course of 1500metres (Waterland is currently 600m of open water) and facilities and access are now in the planning and funding stage.
Eventually it is hoped to extend the course to the International standard of 2Kms.

The event takes place at Waterland Outdoor, which is situtaed on Lake 32, Cotswold Country Park, Spratsgate Lane, near Somerford Keynes. If you need directions, the postcode is GL7 6DF

Programme:
!0.00am onwards Rowing for all ? Experience rowing for the first time
All are welcome

12.00 noon onwards Barbeque and drinks.
