BBC event gave preview of new series and CWP feature

Last week more than 100 people sat enthralled as the wonders of British wildlife were revealed on the big screen by BBC producer, presenter and author, Stephen Moss.
The event, entitled "BBC Wildlife Exposed on Film" was held at the Cotswold Four Pillars Hotel, South Cerney, who also kindly sponsored the room hire for the evening. Stephen showed some stunning excerpts from the landmark new series, the Nature of Britain which was recently launched on BBC1.
The programme is pesented by Alan Titchmarsh and through a series of eight programmes identifies the rich and diverse habitats to be found around the British Isles and its numerous islands.
The Cotswold Water Park will be featured at the end of the fourth programme in the series, to be shown on October 31st - Lakes and Rivers, where CWP volunteers ( and Gareth!) can be seen clearing reedbeds, monitoring bats and examining sandmartin colonies in working quarry faces.

More events of this nature (sorry!) are being planned for the new year, so keep a watch on the Events page for all the latest details.
