Lechlade & Bushyleaze Trout Fisheries
Lechlade and Bushyleaze Trout Fisheries lie in the beautiful Cotswold countryside, near the headwaters of the River Thames, half-a-mile east of the town of Lechlade. They are clearly signposted on the A361 Swindon to Burford road. Within east travelling distance of Oxford, Birmingham and Bristol, and only 11/2 hours from London, the fisheries are a short drive from either the M4 or the M40.
Lechlade Trout Fishery comprises a nine-acre lake with 250 yards of wild Brown Trout fishing on the River Leach. It is stocked as a “big fish” water, with an average stocking size of four to six pounds, and with double-figure fish introduced every day.
