Become a Friend of the Cotswold Water Park Society
For less than £4 a month you and your family can enjoy many benefits by becoming a Friend, and in the process ensure that we can continue our work to improve the Cotswold Water Park for generations to come.
Free daily entry to Keynes Country Park year round
If you live within easy reach of Keynes Country Park it is easy to visit every day of the year for free once you become a Friend. With the Park being open until 9pm every evening from May through to September this makes such a lovely place for an evening stroll, a picnic with the family, or just to let the children enjoy some fresh air before bedtime!
Invitations to exclusive events and open evenings
From time to time we organise special events for the Friends such as the hugely popular Fossil Hunts which take place with special permission from the quarry companies, and are always led by an expert such as Dr Neville Hollingworth. We also endeavour to keep the Friends informed of recent developments within the Cotswold Water Park through talks and lectures.
Friends card
Once you have joined the Society you will be issued with a membership card - to a design of your choice- which will enable you to obtain your exit token from Keynes Park for free easily and quickly - just call into the Shop and show your membership card.
Quarterly newsletter
To keep our Friends informed of all that is happening around the Cotswold Water Park, we will send you a newsletter upon joining and then approximately every three months. We do encourage new Friends to supply their email address if possible as this helps to keep the overheads down (and is better for the environment!)
Download the Summer 2007 edition of Lakeside newsletter, the latest member's newsletter.
Volunteers
We are always very happy to hear from people who would like to help the work of the Society, whether in a practical way such as helping the ranger team, or offering to help in the offices. If you would like to find out more about volunteering, please contact the Society offices on 01793 752413/752730, or email info@waterpark.org
