Gareth Harris from the Cotswold Water Park Society will give an illustrated talk about the work being undertaken in the CWP to conserve and promote these mysterious creatures, with (hopefully) some live bats.

Marching for Mammals; National and Local Mammal Conservation
Monday 12th May 2008, 6.45pm
Four Pillars Hotel, Spine Road, South Cerney
Cute and furry they may be, but there is a lot more to mammals than meets the eye! This fundraising event is aimed at interested individuals who would like to discover more about the current state of conservation of UK mammals and what is happening here in the Cotswold Water Park. Through an evening of short illustrated talks covering topics such as beavers, water voles and harvest mice, all the current issues will be covered.
We are delighted to welcome, as one of the speakers, Dr Adam Grogan of the Mammal Society. Adam is taking a few hours off from his mammoth walk along ALL the National Trails, all 2352 miles of them, as part of a fundraising effort to raise awareness of the Mammal Society and its work.
Tickets: £10 on the door - no booking necessary.
