Activities
Waterland Outdoor Pursuits provides activities to companies, schools & Youth Organisations, You can participate in Windsurfing, Archery, Raftbuilding, Low Ropes, Sailing, Kayaking, Orienteering, Problem Solving and Canoeing. We are an Activity Licensed site and are approved by the Royal Yachting Association and the British Canoe Union.
Corporate
Jo Pendlebury heads our Business Development side; qualified to Masters Degree Level in Training & Development and is a Chartered Member Of The institute Of Training & Development. We work with companies to provide the training that will work for them and pride ourselves on a diverse clientele. www.waterland-business-development-training.co.uk
Day tickets
You can obtain from the office, year, week, weekend or day membership depending on your needs. Prices can be obtained either from our website on www.ukwatersports.co.uk or calling into our site at Waterland, Keynes Park.
Casual use
Hire of equipment such as kayaks, canoes, windsurfers and sailing dinghies are available in the season from March 1st to 31st October. All you have to do is prove knowledge that you are experienced in that type of craft's use. The facilities are open from 10.00am seven days a week.
Membership
Membership is open to people with their own craft. You can gain membership if you are a Dinghy Sailor, Windsurfer, Kayakist, Canoeist or Triathlon member.
Members have the same rights to access the lake and lake area. Triathlon members can only swim before 10am in the morning seven days a week.
Facilities
Waterland are situated on a forty-four acre lake at Keynes Country Park. We have toilets, hot showers, camping area ( group camping only) and changing facilities. Good launching, ample parking and a friendly site. The site is open from March to October for day use seven days a week.
